At Lanakila Baptist Church, we are a family and hope you will consider a visit to our wonderful church. Lanakila Baptist Church had its beginning on February 22, 1967. Missionary Robert K. Knutson (BBFI Missionary) and family were used of God to organize and lead this Church for twelve years. He was followed by Don Stone, who served for eight years. Bobby Lasater followed and held the pastorate for four years,until 1991. Tommy Moore served our congregation until September of 2000, I became the current pastor in December of 2000. All of these men, as well as myself were former Missionaries. Lanakila is the Hawaiian word for "Victory." And to that end we pledge ourselves together to take God's victorious the message through the Lord Jesus Christ to our Islands and around this world! In Christian Aloha Pastor Steve |
